1st January 2011 - Sue Stedman Ltd rebrands to Stedman Corporate Clothing following retirement of founder
Teresa Stedman will become Managing Director of Stedman Corporate Clothing, the new name of Sue Stedman Ltd following the decision by Sue to retire. Having successfully established the Sue Stedman Corporate Clothing business over 21 years ago, founder Sue Stedman has announced her retirement. Teresa Stedman is taking over the business having worked with the firm since 2000 and operated as Commercial Director for the past four years.
To reflect the transition, the company name has now changed to Stedman Corporate Clothing Ltd and Teresa has become the company’s Managing Director, effective from 1st January 2011.
Commenting on her decision to retire, Sue Stedman said: “Having founded the company over two decades ago, I have taken the decision to retire. I have loved working in this industry and am very proud to have grown the business to where it is today. In order that a very sound business can continue and develop in the future, I am passing the business to Teresa Stedman, who joined the company in 2000 and has been Commercial Director since 2006. I am confident that I am leaving the business in very good hands.”
Teresa Stedman said, “The team would like to take this opportunity to wish Sue well in her retirement. I am proud to take over the direction of the business and look forward to continuing to deliver the very best uniform design, production and fulfilment service to our clients, alongside our established partners and suppliers. All clients will continue to receive a consistently high service and attention to detail, as usual; an ethos which has been at the heart of the business since it formed in 1989 and still stands today.”
